03.04.26 - mostly shop things

Right. I still had a few more photos and things to catch up on but I want to write another thing too, so we'll see how quick I can make this.

Here are a few recent charity shop books. I'm not quite sure what I've gotten myself into with the Alasdair Gray one!

I also received the latest edition of the Mycelium Parish News. It's a retrospective of the year just gone, it's not very late.  And it came with a lovely postcard.

More info on this here- https://orbific.com/the-2025-mycelium-parish-news-is-out/

And here are a few other little treats I bought for myself.

I do go to a lot of charity shops, but then I also take a while to photograph and share what I find, update various lists etc.  So here are a few I bought recently in the Amnesty book shop

I'm sure this will be educational

I also picked this up in one of the other charity shops,  or rather I suggested that Dan might like to get it and he did.

As usual, more ferret pictures. Here is Nancy being particularly adorable and snoozy.

And some 'highlights' from recent fb ads

Don't ask me to explain any of this, I have no idea

We also had sausage sandwiches at Bulan, and saw some dogs

A good doggo day

On our next outing we saw the following delights
A LOT of honesty at the honesty library

I also had a present swapping evening with Judith, after a couple of years off stuff had built up.
After giving her her own 'tinkletorium' sign, I was then able to reveal to Dan that I'd bought one for us too :)

From my own presents, I am now the proud owner of a LEAF SHEEP

And also one of the dreaded Labubus

Her name is Lucretia Borkia, nicknamed Borkita (for less formal occasions). Judith's is named Borkram so I wanted to stick with the 'theme'.
She also comes with an alternate 'crispy prawn' outfit because of course.

And there was also the Flexible Fidget Ferret

Speaking of ferrets...

So other charity shop things from this week, I picked up this dvd which seems like a cursed object, but I am not reliably informed is a Chris Morris short film (so.. possibly both?)

This cookbook also seems a little unhinged

I didn't choose these. This is all Dan's fault.

Honesty library again

THIS is the sort of thing I buy. I think the dress is 80s, it has shoulder pads.

Still feeling a bit knackered, but all the blood etc he doctors tested last week were apparently normal (and i had an EYE SWAB on Monday wish was pleasant). Trying to get a bit of sorting and tidying done and there's also lots of other stuff I want to write about.  Write about books I am reading and also what I want to read, and all the things I want to do and what I'm busy doing instead. So many Things.

I will get on with the next Thing now which will hopefully result in another entry in the next day or so, but for now I will leave you, as I often do, with more ferret pictures.
